June 1, 2021 (SEATTLE) Gordian Software, an API software to support airline ancillary purchases, announced this week it is a key solution provider enabling FlightHub Group to expand its offerings by providing seat request services to valued customers. FlightHub and Justfly are among the world's leading online travel agencies, offering competitive fares to global destinations.

“The airline industry increasingly relies on ancillaries to differentiate its offerings. However, the way they’re currently distributed is extremely inefficient and time-consuming for OTAs. It needs to be simple, cross-channel, and comprehensive,” said Gordian Co-Founder and CEO Stephen Grabowski.

While the collaborative offering is currently focused on seat requests for flights booked through FlightHub and Justfly.com, the Gordian solution is built to quickly plug in to any additional ancillary offering FlightHub may decide to provide its customers.

“We moved in a matter of weeks to get Gordian’s API onboarded and turned on. It’s encouraging to be able to move so quickly, and leverage Gordian’s proprietary technology platform to increase our ability to fulfil seat requests and provide other high value services to our customers,” said FlightHub CRO Henri Chelhot.

Gordian is a flexible and seamless API platform and widget for travel agencies and airlines, designed to make ancillary purchases simple. Leveraging existing infrastructure, it has the capacity to integrate into existing platforms in a matter of weeks instead of months or years. It supports the full range of airline products including baggage, seats, flights and other ancillaries.

“Customers should not need to wait until check-in to purchase the services they want for their flight. Both airlines and OTAs want a more seamless experience for their customers and we’re working to enable that.” said Grabowski.

In a critical time for the travel industry, Gordian has quickly become a trusted tool of some of the most notable travel industry mainstays including Priceline, Hopper, Kiwi.com, TravelPerk, Otravo, Travix, lm group, Atrapalo, among others. It supports ancillary sales on more than 90 airlines through online travel agencies collectively selling more than 45 million tickets annually. The company’s current year-over-year growth rate is more than 100x, accelerating its expansion as ancillary products become even more essential to the airline industry due to COVID-19.
